Growing In Torah is a youth training program that starts with the beginning of the growing season in March and ends in the fall with the Feast of Tabernacles harvest festival.
I wouldn’t trade the 7 months I spent at GIT for anything else. It was a great place to be during the transition in my life of becoming a man. I know YHVH wanted me to be there. I definitely want to come back for a second year. -Samuel Baldwin
This is what we are doing here at GIT; taking time out of our lives to really focus on areas that need work, or areas that we want to produce even greater fruit. We are setting some things aside for a time, so that we can truly learn and grow. And it is all a part of being pruned and trained under Yahweh’s guidance.
“In the end, all that Yeshua really calls us to do is just follow after Him, so I think it’s really important to till the soil in your own heart and plant good things.”
It has been said that… “If you can be a farmer, you can do anything!”
Growing in Torah(GIT) is a leadership training program for college-age young adults that centers around teaching servant leadership, work ethic, principles in giving and other important skills to our next generation; Skills like sustainable heirloom farming (seed to market), animal husbandry, patience, humility and applying biblical principles to daily activities.
It takes place on a farm called Safe Haven Sustainable Farms Inc. located in central California. It starts with the beginning of the growing season in March and ends in the fall with the Feast of Tabernacles harvest festival.
We are looking for people to partner with us in helping train the next generation and to help spread the good news of Yeshua (Jesus). Would you please consider planting a seed at GIT and partnering with us by making a monthly donation? Your support will help us continue to train these young adults, feed needy in the community with thousands of pounds of non-GMO produce and finish building our campus facilities.
Thank you, Bryan Barnes, GIT Director
